Reason 7.1
Important for Mac users! If you have personal files, e.g. ReFills, song files and patches in your Reason application folder, then you must move them to another location before you install the upgrade, or they will be lost.

Version 7.1.2 is an update for Mac only. For Reason 7 on Windows, version 7.1.1 is the latest update.

Reason 6.5 and Reason Essentials 1.5 upgrade
This application update is only needed if you have installed Reason 6 from a DVD.
You will need the Reason 6 DVD to install.

If you already have the full version of Reason 6, you can download a much smaller upgrade that doesn't include the soundbanks. Just copy the soundbanks from your existing Reason folder to the new one.

This is a mac-only update designed to bring Intel Mac compatibility to Reason. This update also includes the latest version of ReWire, so non-Intel mac users still benefit a lot from this update.
Reason 2.5 upgrade
Free upgrade for owners of Reason 2.0 (no longer available). On the initial launch of Reason 2.5, you will be prompted to re-authorize Reason. Make sure that you have the two CDs and the License number available. It is your new Reason 2.5 license number that should be entered, Reason 2.5 won't accept your Reason 2.0 license number. You can find this number on the Product Registration page in the Users area on our website.
Reason 2 updates
Free update for owners of Reason 2.0. Note: When the 2.0.1 patch has updated Your Reason 2.0, You will be prompted to re-authorize Reason the next time You launch it. Make sure that You have the two CDs and the License number available.
Record
Record 1.5
Record 1.5.1 is an update compatible with version 5 of Reason. Record 1.5.1 does not work with Reason version 4.
Please note: The Record 1.5.1 installer will overwrite any older version of Record on your computer. If you want to keep Record 1 installed, rename its folder first. See the included Readme file for details.

When you download and install Record, only a basic selection of video tutorials are included. Download and run the installer below to get access to the full selection of video tutorials from within the program.
Record 1.0.1 includes Remote support for Line 6 FBV Shortboard mk II and FBV Express mk II. However, for all controls to work properly, you need to download a FBV preset file and open it in the Line 6 FBV Control application.
ReWire
ReWire is a system for transferring audio data between two computer applications, in real time. Basically, you could view ReWire as an "invisible cable" that streams audio from one computer program into another.
You don't need to install ReWire. It's a part of your ReWire capable music software.
ReWire 1.7
The ReWire 1.7 update brings dramatically improved sample loading times and compatibility with Intel Macs. If you use a PC, this update is for you. If you use a mac, you only need this update if you are not using Reason. For instance, if you use ReWire to hook up Ableton Live and Logic on an Intel Mac you should download this update.
Note: If you are using Reason 3.0.5, Reason version 4 or later, you do not need this update at all.
ReFill Packer
The Reason ReFill packer is a tool that lets you create your own ReFill files for use in Reason.
